Suzan Mubarak suffers heart attack after being convicted to 15 days jail.
Post-Revolution EgyptOn April 21, 2011, an Egyptian court directed the names of Hosni and Suzanne Mubarak on public facilities be removed.[3]
On May 13, 2011, an Egyptian anti-graft agency ordered Suzanne Mubarak to be detained for 15 days in a Cairo prison for questioning.[7] This was the first detention order for her, although she already been ordered to be detained in April for a separate investigation of misuse of public funds and involvement in the death of anti-Mubarak protestors in the January 2011 popular uprising.[7] The state news agency reported that the Hosni and Suzanne Mubarak had signed documents that provide more information on their international bank accounts.[7]
[edit] FamilySuzanne Mubarak is the wife of ousted Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. She is the daughter of an Egyptian pediatrician, Saleh Thabet, and British nurse Lily May Palmer. Saleh Thabet, at the time a 29-year-old medical student at Cardiff University, married the 29-year-old Lily May Palmer at Islington, London on 16 March 1934. Lily was a trained nurse working at The Infirmary on Camden Road, Islington. She was the daughter of colliery manager Charles Henry Palmer, and grew up in Pontypridd, Glamorgan, Wales.[8] Suzanne Mubarak's older brother, Mounir Sabet, is a former president of the Egyptian Olympic Committee.[9]
She has two sons and two grandsons but one of her grandsons, Muhammad, died on 18 May 2009, aged 12, after a severe health crisis.fonte/ Wikipédia
